Here are some examples of my go-to smoothies. I like them because they are quick, easy to put together, healthy, and delicious!
Blueberry Avocado Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup milk (I like to use unsweetened almond milk)
1 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
Half of an avocado
Blend until smooth and enjoy!

That’s the basic set up for any smoothies that I do. I just switch out frozen blueberries for other frozen fruit, like strawberries or mangoes. Sometimes I’ll match the yogurt flavor with the type of fruit I’m using, but I find it easiest to just buy a big tub of vanilla yogurt and use it for everything. I’ve found that the avocado works best with blueberries, but when I use other fruits I like to add a handful of spinach just for the vitamins. It sometimes makes the smoothies a weird color, but they still taste great!
Maybe in the future I’ll practice with fancier stuff like chocolate peanut butter smoothies or protein shakes, but for now, this makes for a quick, nice snack that I can throw together while babbling with my 4 month old before she gets too bored watching me run around the kitchen. Let me know if you tried it and liked it, and as always, thanks for reading!
🙂 Lovely! Smoothies that are quite easy to make!
Where I am concerned, I would substitute regular milk for a plant-based milk!
